Symptoms

  • Very hard to shoot, with hard points
  • The head does not remain armed: the piston (definition) goes forward
  • Shooting starts by closing the head

Causes

Most common to rare.

  1. Too powerful spring (definition) or dry cylinder (definition)Common

  1. A head that doesn't hold the weapon can get the shot off at any time. Remove the charger and point to the ground throughout the diagnosis.

  2. Cylinder out, remove the old grease, then a thin layer of silicone grease on the piston seal and spring guide (definition).

  3. The contact (definition) angles shall be clear. A trigger rounded by wear loosens the plunger; with a reinforced spring, prefer a metal trigger.

Stop and hand over the reply to a technician if:

  • Shooting starts on its own: no longer use the replica before repair
  • The spring is very powerful: its dismantling requires a suitable tool
