Symptoms

  • The charger is empty the day after filling
  • Sifting or frosting at the base of the charger
  • Gas spring (definition) during filling

Causes

Most common to rare.

  1. Filling valve dirty or looseCommon

In the order: we start with what does not require anything to disassemble. Check as you go, the list is kept in this browser.

  1. Head loader down, bottle straight, just a few seconds. Too full, the liquid gas comes out and derules the valve.

    Without tools

  2. Brushed on valves and joints: bubbles show the exact place. Then wipe well.

  3. A few drops of silicone oil in the filling valve, then a filling: the gas causes the oil on the internal joints. Often enough.

  4. Fully emptied charger, with valve key adapted, without excess. Forced threading does not catch up.

Stop and hand over the reply to a technician if:

  • A valve must be removed while the charger still contains gas
  • The body of the charger is split
