Maintenance of replicas
Simple gestures that avoid most breakdowns: after each part, every few months and before long storage.

Principles
- A regular and light maintenance is better than a large dismantling
- Don't open a gearbox or a head for no reason: every dismantling has its risks
- Photograph each step when you disassemble
- Use the right products: silicone oil, gearbox grease (definition), isopropyl alcohol
Calendar
After each game
- Decompression shot, charger removed
- Battery disconnected, LiPo (definition) storage recovery
- Dried replica if it took moisture
- Bills collected or wet thrown, never recharged
Every few months
- Isopropyl alcohol cleaned cannon and cocking
- Seals of silicone oiled gas chargers
- Controlled body and optical mounting screws

Before storing long
- 3.8 V LiPo per element, separated in flame retardant bag
- Gas chargers kept with a little gas, so that the seals remain flexible
- Relaxed springs, including that of hi-cap chargers
- Dry and temperate storage, in a breathable cover
Canon and hop-up
Open the hop-up
Set the hop-up (definition) to a minimum so that the stick does not force on the sticking.
Clean the cannon
Sprinkle a baguette with a teddy fabric slightly soaked in isopropyl alcohol, from the chamber if possible, then dry fabric.
Control the fucking
It must be clean, supple and without incision. A damaged fucker gets the balls off.
Resetting
Return to your hop-up setting and pull a few balls to check it.
Electrical
Battery
Charge the balancer charger, never unload a LiPo below 3.0 V per element, and store it at 3.8 V per element.
Connectors and fuse
A connector that heats or blackens loses power. Replace it before it melts.
Gearbox
She doesn't need to be open as long as she turns well. When it is, the gears grease slightly, and the piston (definition) and cylinder (definition) with a suitable grease.
Gas
- Use a lubricated gas, or oil the silicone filling valve before filling
- Keep some gas in the stored chargers: the seals remain swollen and watertight
- Fill head-down charger and bottle well vertical, with short pulses
- Clean and grease the head and rails slightly from time to time
- Avoid temperature shocks: never heat a charger other than when in contact (definition) with the body
Compressed air
- Close the bottle and purge the line (definition) after each part
- Watch the O-rings of the fittings and replace them at the slightest whistle
- Never fill a bottle whose requalification date is exceeded
- Protect the hose from creases and cutting edges
